Untimed practice
Untimed trivia. Take your time.
Untimed trivia practice removes the answer countdown from a private solo game. Choose five or ten questions from a theme, lock an answer when you are ready, and review the factual explanation. Correct answers earn 100 points without a speed bonus. This is practice, not a daily leaderboard attempt.
How do I start?
- Choose a theme on setup; untimed solo practice is already selected from this link.
- Press Solo · 5 or Solo · 10.
- Choose an answer or pass. No timer forces an answer.
- Read the reveal, then press Next at your own pace.
Is there a hidden countdown in untimed practice?
No. Untimed practice has no answer countdown and no speed bonus. The player decides when to submit or pass, then presses Next to continue.
Does untimed practice change friend-room or daily scores?
No. It is a separate solo session. Friend matches and the daily challenge retain their timed rules, and practice does not claim or replace a daily first-attempt score.

House rules
- Up to 8 players per room.
- A surprise mix of formats. Most questions use typed answers, with multiple choice mixed in. Everyone gets the same format. Type a recognized alternative or a close spelling; short answers and exact numbers need precision. Any numeric tolerance is stated on that question.
- Correct = 100 points, plus a speed bonus: +10 within 5 seconds, +5 within 10, +0 after that.
- Wrong, pass or timeout = 0. Untimed rooms have no clock and no speed bonus.
- Bold Answer (Strategy, once per match): +50 extra when correct, −50 when wrong. Passes and timeouts remain zero; activating consumes the token.
- 15 seconds to answer. All answers lock on submission. After each reveal, everyone presses Next before the room moves on; there is no automatic advance. Expect roughly 2 minutes for five questions or 4 for ten, plus any time spent reviewing answers.
